Leslie Elmore Hill killed in one car crash

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that 77-year old Leslie Elmore Hill of Melbourne was killed Saturday morning about 8:20 when he was traveling southbound on I-95 near the Pineda Causeway at Mile Marker 188.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol reported that 77-year old Leslie Elmore Hill of Melbourne was killed Saturday morning about 8:20 when he was traveling southbound on I-95 near the Pineda Causeway at Mile Marker 188.

According to FHP, for an unknown reason, the Hill left the roadway and the front of his 2003 Corvette struck a pilar.

Hill was pronounced dead at the scene and it is unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
