BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey formally endorsed District 4 School Board candidate Dana DeSantis Thursday, lending his support to a longtime friend and extremely qualified former educator and business professional.

Brevard County’s Chief Law Enforcement Officer cited Dana’s 15 years of classroom teaching experience and her dedication and commitment to quality educational outcomes for all of Brevard County’s students and their families as the primary basis for his support.

“I am very proud to formally endorse Dana for the District 4 School Board race. I have known her for a number of years and can personally speak to her commitment to our educational system, her advocacy for students, teachers and parents and the quality of her character,” said Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

“She is fully dedicated to fiscal conservatism and the best use of our tax dollars in support of our children’s education.”
