BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – An abandoned puppy was found Friday by Titusville police officers chained to a stop sign at I-95 and Cheney Highway.

According to the Titusville police Facebook page, officers have named the little guy “PD” (pronounced Petey).

The dog was placed with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services Unit off Eau Gallie Boulevard, where veterinarian Dr. Robert Edwards found Petey had a broken back leg, according to ClickOrlando.com.
