Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit educational sanctuary for exotic animals as well as farm animals that rehab hundreds of animals yearly through their Wild Life Rehabilitation program. The sanctuary is located in Locust Grove, Georgia.

“We are devoted to rescuing and providing a permanent home for animals that have been abused, abandoned or neglected, as well as animals who are surrendered for many different reasons,” said the organization’s Facebook page.

“We also provide a forever home for animals who come from breeding facilities or have become surplus animals.”

Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary currently has approximately 1,500 animals that include over 100 different species. These animals come through private surrender as well as through the Department of Natural Resources.

However, the animals arrive at Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, they have come “home” in every sense of the word and will live out their lives in as natural a habitat as possible with top of the line medical care, nutrition and enrichment.

This is not an easy task to care for so many animals. With over 1,500 animals, you can imagine that our veterinary costs and food costs run high. It costs approximately $33,000 per month to feed and care for the animals here at Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary.
