ABOVE VIDEO: The Palm Bay Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the suspect involved in the shooting of a taxi cab driver on April 12.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the suspect involved in the shooting of a taxi cab driver on April 12.

Palm Bay Police have identified the taxi driver as 31-year-old Stephen Davis who worked for Call-a-Cab Inc., according to Palm Bay Police.

The incident occurred at a Walgreens located at the corner of Port Malabar Boulevard and Babcock Street where  the victim was shot in the left arm and torso area multiple times.

Rescue crews transported Davis to Holmes Regional Medical Center, where he is is still recovering from his injuries.
