It was the "Walking Boss's" (aka: Commander Greg Purden) 52nd Birthday last week and he asked that instead of getting him a gift, everyone take a minute to save the date of October 15 so they can participate in this year's "Jailbreak Adventure Race."

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – It was the “Walking Boss’s” (aka: Commander Greg Purden) 52nd Birthday last week and he asked that instead of getting him a gift, everyone take a minute to save the date of October 15 so they can participate in this year’s “Jailbreak Adventure Race.”

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office “Jailbreak Adventure Race” is held annually to raise money for local Brevard County Charities.

This year 100 percent of the proceeds from the race will be donated to “The Field of Dreams” and two other charities that will be announced as we get closer to the event.

So take a minute to save the date of October 15 for this incredibly fun race, and let’s give the “Walking Boss” the best birthday gift ever!
