NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The highest coverage of late day storms will be from metro Orlando and the Space Coast southward today, then on Monday the highest coverage will shift to the inland sections.

Brevard County Ocean Rescue made 27 grabs from the surf on Saturday and has issued a Rip Current threat warning advising beachgoers to swim near a lifeguard tower.

A rip current danger will persist at area beaches through Memorial Day.
