BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department arrested Michael Brandon Dudley-Palmer, 24, and charged him with Robbery, Felony Petit theft and Aggravated Battery after an incident at 800 E. Fee Avenue in Melbourne on Thursday about 12:22 a.m.

According to Melbourne Police Lt. T.A. Turner, officers responded to the 800 Block of E. Fee Avenue regarding a person with extensive facial injuries.

The subject was interviewed and it was determined he was the victim of a brutal robbery where money and his phone were stolen.

“A detailed description was provided and Michael Brandon Dudley-Palmer was located in the immediate area,” said Lt. Turner in a release.

“Further investigation revealed he had the victim’s phone, money and blood on his pants.”

Dudley-Palmer was taken into custody and interviewed, resulting in several admissions implicating him as the person that robbed the victim. The victim is currently being treated for substantial facial injuries.

According to Lt. Turner, Dudley-Palmer is a transient who was recently released from jail for felony battery, criminal mischief and felony petit theft.
