Dockery Gets Win and Hits Home Run

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA –The District 22 Tournament of Champions wrapped up Friday night with the Major Baseball division finishing up at Holder Park in Mims. 

Port St. John Little League (visitors) met the Merritt Island Little League team.

Port St. John’s Ryan Vite had two hits including a solo home run while Ryekin Pratt had a double and 2 RBI.  Paul Dooley went 2-for-3 at the plate.

For Merritt Island, Tommy McGee had a double and a triple and Sal Carlson added a single and three RBI’s.  Austin Dockery had two hits including a two-run homer and pitched into the 5th inning to pick up the 10-6 win for the Championship title.

District 22 All-Stars will start with the 8-10 Year Old Division beginning play at Jim Hensley Park in Merritt Island on June 23rd.
