Titusville Offender Sweep Yields 7 Arrests, Over 50 Grams In Drugs and Stolen Guns

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have arrested seven parole and probation offenders during a citywide sweep on Wednesday, according to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

Investigators conducted 32 resident searches which resulted in the seven arrests as well as seizing 33 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of marijuana and 3 firearms. Two of the firearms seized were stolen.

All the suspects are from Titusville with the exception of James Posley Senior who is from Mims.

Below are their names and charges:

Montegus Ameardairakim McDaniel, 18, Marijuana Possession, Possession/Use Drug Paraphernalia, 2 counts of Controlled Substance Possession
Comonique Tanisha Williams, 35, 2 counts of Violation of Parole and Probation
Belinda Shantell Sanders,34, Violation of Parole and Probation
Janice Lynette Lowder, 46, Violation of Parole and Probation
James Posley Senior, 54, Cocaine Trafficking, Cocaine Possession with Intent to Sell, Possession/Use Drug Paraphernalia, Violation of Parole and Probation
Cristal Nicole Berry, 25, Violation of Parole and Probation
Derrick L. Hamilton, 36, Violation of Parole and Probation

“I am so proud of our Investigators for their efforts in takings more guns and drugs off of our streets”, said Chief John Lau.

“I would also like to thank our probation and parole partners as this was a joint operation,” added Lau.

All suspects were booked into the Brevard County Jail.
