Google Classroom is new tool in Google Apps
BREVARD COUNTY• MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Tropical Elementary held a family technology night, where students showcased the different ways they incorporate 21st century learning skills in the classroom and at home.
Several parents of fourth – sixth grade students observed their students’ ability to utilize Google share accounts to maximize project and assignment completion.
Students logged into their accounts and displayed the different assignment they have completed through Google Classroom.
Google Classroom is a new tool in Google Apps for Education that helps teachers create and organize assignments quickly, provide feedback efficiently, and easily communicate with their classes.
It is a control center, designed with teachers and students to connect the class, track their progress and achieve more together.
“The students really enjoyed using this new digital tool and spoke with their parents about how much they love completing assignments on their laptops,” said Jillian Vicidomini, second grade teacher.
