The Florida Highway Patrol has identified Randy Austin of Titusville as the man was killed Thursday night about 6:15 p.m. at U.S. 1 and Fay Boulevard in a single vehicle motorcycle crash.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol has identified Randy Austin of Titusville as the man was killed Thursday night about 6:15 p.m. at U.S. 1 and Fay Boulevard in a single vehicle motorcycle crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Austin, 50, was traveling northbound on a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on U.S. 1, and for an unknown reason, drifted off of the roadway and collided with a fence.

According to FHP, Austin was ejected from his motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet.

The crash remains under investigation.
