Coutu went 3-for-3 with Grand Slam and 5 RBI

Major Baseball pool play continued Saturday morning at Mims' Holder Park with Port St. John Little League taking on Merritt Island.

BREVARD COUNTY, MIMS, FLORIDA – Major Baseball pool play continued Saturday morning at Mims’ Holder Park with Port St. John Little League taking on Merritt Island. 

MERRITT ISLAND 11, PORT ST. JOHN 1: Port St. John’s Ryan Cannon hit a solo homer and Merritt Island’s Tyler Coutu went 3-for-3 with a Grand Slam and 5 RBI.

Rylan diaz went 2-for-2 adding an RBI while Anthony Cartagena and Meric Collins each had RBI singles.  Gage Garcia pitched the complete game with 9 strikeouts for the 11-1 Merritt Island win in 3 1/2 innings.
