ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Orlando City captain Kaká has been named to the 2016 AT&T Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Game as a Fan XI selection, joining a group of world-class international stars and U.S. national team standouts.

“I’m very happy to be part of this team. Last year I had a very great time playing in the All-Star game against Tottenham,” Kaká said.

“This year we get to play against Arsenal. It will be awesome again because it’s a very good team. I want to thank everybody who voted for me to be a part of this team.”

This is Kaká’s second MLS All-Star selection after being named captain of the MLS All-Stars for last year’s game against English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The Brazilian superstar scored a goal and registered one assist en route to MLS All-Star Most Valuable Player honors. The 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year has started nine games for the Lions this season, scoring three goals while leading the team with five assists.

Based in London, England, Arsenal is one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, having won 12 FA Cups and 13 League titles. Most recently, the Gunners finished second in the Premier League.
