Titusville Firefighter Injured Preparing To Respond To Fire, Airlifted To Holmes Regional

Titusville Fire responded to a report of a structure fire at 1390 Thorton Avenue on Monday at about 4:02 p.m. One person was found deceased, along with at least one pet.

A Titusville firefighter was injured on Monday afternoon preparing to respond to a fire.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A Titusville firefighter was injured on Monday afternoon preparing to respond to a fire.

As some of you may or may not have heard, one of our own Titusville firefighters fell when preparing to respond to a reported fire just a few hours ago.

The firefighter was knocked unconscious. The crew members began emergency treatment and a Trauma Alert was issued.

The firefighter was flown to Holmes Regional Medical Center for further treatment. Thanks to all who have shown concern and to the crew of Brevard County Fire Rescue 20, Fire medics Silvestri and Landmesser.
