One Person Dead After Incident With Train In Melbourne Thursday Night

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Investigators are on the scene of a deadly incident that involved a train and a pedestrian near the 900 block of Sunset Dr. in Melbourne Thursday night at around 6:30p.m.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a local eyewitness Steve Blair, a middle aged white male was seen walking on the bridge and saw the train coming, turned back one last time and never tried to get out of the way.

The impact from the train knocked the man off the bridge where police have located the body.
