By Brevard County Manatees // August 24, 2016
BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – On Saturday September 3, the Brevard County Manatees and FOX will come together to show a special premiere of the upcoming series, “PITCH”.
As a part of the evening, following a fireworks show as a part of the final Friends & Family Night at Space Coast Stadium, fans will be allowed down onto the field where they will be able to watch the premiere of “PITCH” on the Space Coast Stadium video board.
200 lucky fans will also receive vouchers for free popcorn and soda to be enjoyed during the premiere.
Those in attendance will also be allowed down onto the field before the game for pregame catch on the field.
“PITCH” follows the fictional story of Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury, “Under the Dome”), the first female pitcher in the big leagues. Produced in association with Major League Baseball, the series’ aspirational element pairs perfectly with Minor League Baseball, where teams have been at the forefront of opening up opportunities to women within the game.
“PITCH” premieres on FOX 35 in Orlando on Thursday, September 22 at 9 p.m. ET.
The Manatees join 42 other Minor League Baseball teams and 12 independent and college summer league teams across the country that will show a special premiere of the upcoming FOX series.
