Brevard County Sheriff’s Agents Investigate Discovery of Human Bones In Mims

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation on I-95 at the Eau Gallie Causeway after discovering an adult male, who was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation in the 1900 block of Duncil Lane in Malabar, according to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of what Sheriff’s Agents believe to be human bones near a northbound Interstate 95 rest stop in Mims.

According to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department, no foul play is suspected at this time and Sheriff’s Agents are investigating.

Cpl. Jacobs said that the bones were found by a trail near the rest stop, and it hasn’t been determined if the remains are male or female at this time.
