National Weather Service Continues To Monitor Tropical Wave Headed Towards Florida This Weekend

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service (NWS) has released an update on the system located southeast of Florida.
NWS has classified the system, as currently, a tropical wave located just north of Hispaniola.
It can be expected that portions of Central Florida could experience some heavy rain and gusty winds over the weekend.
NWS has also tagged the probability of this system becoming a tropical cyclone around 80% over the next few days.
