ORLANDO, FLORIDA—  UCF football has agreed to a home-and-home series with North Carolina, the schools announced Wednesday. The Knights will visit Chapel Hill Sept. 15, 2018, while the Tar Heels make the trek to Orlando Sept. 12, 2020.

UCF and North Carolina have never met on the gridiron.

The Tar Heels have finished with at least a .500 record in the regular season every year since 2008.

Future non-conference home games for the Knights include: Maryland and South Carolina State (2016), Georgia Tech and FIU (2017), Florida Atlantic (2018), Stanford (2019) and North Carolina (2020).
