A very distinguished and growing coalition of combat decorated veterans and local law enforcement officials have joined to endorse Kristine Isnardi for Brevard County Commissioner District 5.

The growing list includes Sheriff Wayne Ivey and the Palm Bay Fraternal Order of Police. Also endorsing Isnardi are decorated veterans including a local hero and a U.S. Marine awarded the Purple Heart after being wounded while serving with honor and distinction in Afghanistan – Cpl. Abraham Krysak.

With the primary just a few weeks away it’s clear our community law enforcement leaders and military heroes are looking for a leader that is humble yet action oriented and has the experience and temperament day one to tackle the challenges the community faces.

As a growing group they are turning to Kristine Isnardi with their support.

Isnardi comes from a military family and is one of the most visible veterans advocates in Brevard County. She has been instrumental to the success of the “Homes for Warriors” program through her leadership at the Space Coast Paratroopers Association.

As a hospice nurse, her compassion is clear. As a city council member she has fought for budget controls that protect the taxpayers of Palm Bay.

As a 22-year retired first sergeant with multiple combat tours, I know honor and sacrifice when I see it. I admire selfless service to our community and respect action over words in my leaders.

For those reasons I’m joining with these heroes and leaders below to give my first ever political endorsement at the county level for Kristine Isnardi.

“I’m proud to endorse and support Kristine in this race,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“She is a dedicated public servant and deeply committed to this great community. Kristine has the judgement, experience and leadership we need in this community and will do a fantastic job as our next county commissioner.”

“I’ve seen Kristine in government action for going on five years now. Unlike too many local so-called conservatives who will say the right things to get elected only to fail us once in office, she is the real deal.”
