State Road 50 is closed in both directions, in Brevard County due to an active forest fire, north of State Road 50, according to Sergeant Kim Montes, Florida Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – State Road 50 is closed in both directions in Brevard County due to an active forest fire, north of State Road 50, according to Sergeant Kim Montes, Florida Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer.

“Westbound State Road 50 is closed at I-95 ,and Eastbound is closed at the Orange–Brevard County line, at the St. John’s river,” said Sgt. Kim Montes in a release.

“If drivers are traveling Eastbound from Orange County into Brevard, they will have to use State Road 520 or State Road 528 as an alternate route.”
