KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are searching for 21-year old Alexander Marquis Valentin, a suspect driver of a hit-and-run vehicle, according to Sgt. Kim Montes, Public Affairs Officer for FHP.

“A warrant has been issued for his arrest in regards to leaving the scene of a fatal crash, where 51-year old Quinten Reyes was struck and killed as he rode his bicycle to work on August 25,” said Sgt. Montes in a release.

According to Sgt. Montes, Troopers were able to confirm that Valentin was the driver of the suspect vehicle through DNA and surveillance video from more than one source.

“Troopers have made contact with Mr. Valentin’s family to notify him of the warrant, but have received no help in doing so,” said Sgt. Montes.
