With only two losses in the Top 25 this past weekend, there was very little change in the AFCA Division II Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

The top five remained the same with Northwest Missouri State still sitting No. 1 with all 30 first-place votes, followed by Grand Valley State (Mich.), West Georgia, Shepherd (W.Va.) and Ashland (Ohio).

Colorado Mesa was the big mover in the poll, but it took two overtimes for them to beat then-No. 10 Colorado School of Mines, 41-40, which vaulted the Mavericks to No. 18, while the Orediggers fell 13 places to No. 23.

Valdosta State (Ga.) was the only team that fell out of this week’s rankings after its loss to No. 19t North Alabama, 44-19, allowing Harding (Ark.) to move into the poll at No. 25. The Bison are 3-0 and one of the top teams in the Great American Conference.
