ABOVE VIDEO: Port Canaveral became the first southeast location for Delaware-based AutoPort, Inc. when it started operations earlier this year to process and modify vehicles for U.S. based automotive manufacturers. As part of the partnership, AutoPort Inc. leased 16 acres at Port Canaveral’s newly completed auto terminal – with an option to expand as its operations grow. AutoPort Inc., a privately held vehicle processing and handling company established in 1981, is an ISO 9001 Certified Company headquartered at the Port of Wilmington, Delaware. In its 30-plus years of operation, AutoPort has processed and modified more than 2 million vehicles destined to market for leading U.S.-based automotive manufacturers.
