Brevard County South Animal Care Center Closed Until Saturday Due To Hurricane Matthew

Those adopting a pet from the County’s Animal Care Centers in Melbourne or Titusville can spin the Wheel of Adoption for a chance at winning prizes, reduced adoption fees or to get the adopted pet for free, according to Karla Torpy, director of Animal Services and Enforcement.
Due to Hurricane Matthew, the South Animal Care Center closed on Wednesday at 6 p.m., and will tentatively reopen at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 8.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Due to Hurricane Matthew, the South Animal Care Center closed on Wednesday at 6 p.m., and will tentatively reopen at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 8.

All stray holds will be extended by two full days.
