Eastern Florida State Basketball Teams Host Titan Madness On Wednesday Night

The Eastern Florida State College basketball teams will take the court for the first time Wednesday night for the third annual Titan Madness

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College basketball teams will take the court for the first time Wednesday night for the third annual Titan Madness.

The event, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus, will feature both the men’s and women’s basketball programs.

“It is a wonderful night for our programs and our kids to be showcased before the season begins,” Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball coach Jim Grimes said. “It’s a lot of fun, one of my favorite events of the year.”

The teams will compete in a skills competition, 3-point contest, dunk contest as well as a scrimmage that will feature two women and three men on each team. Fans in attendance will also get a chance to shoot for free pizza as well as other prizes.

“We have had some exciting and memorable years of Titan Madness, but there is no doubt that this Wednesday’s Titan Madness will be the best of them all!,”Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball coach Jeremy Shulman said.
