BREVARD COUNTY • MICCO, FLORDIA – Colleen Bohn, 65, was struck and killed at U.S. Highway 1 and Steamboat Drive by an unknown vehicle sometime between 9:40 p.m. and 12 midnight on Oct. 8, according to Sgt. Kim Montes, Public Affairs Officer of the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to Sgt. Montes, the unknown suspect vehicle was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 1 as Bohn, a resident of Sebastian, was walking northbound on the southbound paved shoulder.

The front, right of the vehicle struck Bohn and the vehicle left the scene in an unknown direction.

“The vehicle is described as a dark green passenger vehicle with damage to the front right headlight,” said Sgt. Montes in a release. “The vehicle may also have hood or right side damage. At this time we do not have a make or model on the vehicle.”

This crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
