Three deer were brutally beaten with a blunt object by an unknown trespasser in Nature’s Classroom located in Hillsborough County.

Two captive adult deer were found dead by a staff caretaker the morning of October 3, and a third younger deer was seriously injured and died the next day despite being treated by a veterinarian for her injuries.

All considered as pets to both staff and children, the loss of this beloved family of deer has left the outdoor environmental education facility in shock.

We need your help to bring whoever did this terrible act to justice.

Florida Sportsmen Conservation Association has also added a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person/persons responsible for committing this heinous act of animal abuse and cruelty.
