Florida Tech Offers Free Workshops On Managing Cancer Stress, Fatigue

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Two free workshops Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 from Florida Institute of Technology’s Fatigue Management Institute will offer people suffering from cancer information and advice on successfully managing their ailment.

Led by clinical psychology doctoral students, the workshops will allow participants to:

Gain a better understanding of cancer-related stress and fatigue;
Learn lifestyle changes and develop skills that can make a difference;
Learn to incorporate healthy behaviors into everyday living to build confidence to manage your stress and fatigue.
Each workshop will feature different themes and interactive activities to facilitate discussion and learning.

The workshops run from 4-5:30 p.m. in Room 227 of Florida Tech’s Harris Commons, 3011 S. Babcock St., across from the main Florida Tech campus.
