BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA–The well-known private club, La Cita Golf & Country Club, is currently under new management, and looking forward to a new ownership closing.
Major improvements are already progressing at a rapid pace, under the direction of new owner Vivian Dimond, an influential business leader and highly respected South Florida Real Estate Investor.
“La Cita Country Club boasts a longstanding history as a beacon of elegance in North Brevard, and a prestigious listing of loyal members,” says Sue Hutchison, general manager of La Cita Country Club.
“This new ownership ushers in an era of financial stability and a long-term improvement plan that will feature exceptional facilities and fresh programming.”
Quality upgrades to property and facilities, including an expansion of existing programs are planned for the private club. Hutchison continues,
“We have already made significant investment in the infrastructure upgrades that you can’t see, such as new kitchen equipment, a new pump for the golf course and new golf carts, and a new well to water the tennis courts.
In the next 60 days you will see a complete transformation of the exterior to include paint (currently underway), lush landscaping and resurfacing/restriping of the parking lot. It will look like a brand new place.”
The founder and managing broker of Avatar Real Estate Services and new owner, Vivian Dimond has more than 30 years of experience in real estate marketing and sales, construction, property management, and residential and commercial financing and development.
Dimond says that when she walked through the door of La Cita, she knew she was in the right place to revive an iconic property and operate it successfully. With design updates underway, Dimond says she “selected tiles, fabrics, furniture, and statement décor that will create an experience inspired by the Breakers Luxury Palm Beach Resort.”
But, it’s not just about aesthetics. Dimond has emphasized she is committed to hiring local, building relationships, and partnering with the community.
“Vivian respects and appreciates the longstanding history of the club and its members,” says Malcolm Kirschenbaum of EKS, Inc., the Country Club’s original developer. Kirchenbaum went on to share that the opening of La Cita was a historical milestone.
“When the doors first opened in 1985, it was considered a landmark, attracting the attention and membership of some of the most influential people—not just from Brevard County, but from all over. We’ve all experienced memorable moments at La Cita, including weddings, proms, fundraisers, and holiday events.
I look forward to watching Vivian continue these traditions while enhancing this beautiful place; she has a well- documented track record as a seasoned professional.”
Prospective members are invited to join with the club this month. As a special bonus for the support of new members, initiation fees are being waived through the end of October.
