ICYMI: SCHOOL CLOSINGS IN BREVARD COUNTY

Brevard Public Schools has just completed its EOC policy meeting and BPS Superintendent Desmond Blackburn announced that all BPS schools will be closed both Thursday and Friday, October 6 - 7, due to inclement weather and all associated activities are cancelled through the weekend.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools has just completed its EOC policy meeting and BPS Superintendent Desmond Blackburn announced that all BPS schools will be closed both Thursday and Friday, October 6 – 7, due to inclement weather and all associated activities are cancelled through the weekend.

School will remain open tomorrow, Wednesday, October 5, which is a regularly scheduled early release day.

Additionally, excluding after school care, which will close at 6 p.m., all after school activities Wednesday are cancelled.

The district will work collaboratively with local agencies to monitor the storm’s progress to determine when it will be safe to resume classes.
