BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – With Hurricane Matthew set to strike Brevard County, Wuesthoff Medical Center in Rockledge has decided to evacuate.

Below is the statement from Wuesthoff:

As Hurricane Matthew moves toward our area, we have made the difficult decision to evacuate Wuesthoff Medical Center – Rockledge out of an abundance of caution.

The safety of our patients and staff is our first priority. We are working diligently to make arrangements for transfer of patients to appropriate  facilities that will continue providing care throughout the storm.
