The Florida Highway Patrol reported that one man was killed and one injured Thursday evening about 10:25 p.m. in a single vehicle rollover crash on Cheney Highway at Plantation in North Brevard.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol reported that one man was killed and one injured Thursday evening about 10:25 p.m. in a single vehicle rollover crash on Cheney Highway at Plantation in North Brevard.

FHP reported the fatality is a 32-year-old man who has not yet been identified, and the injured man was identified as Donald Gould, 30, of Citra, Florida.

According to FHP, for an unknown reason the driver, who has yet to be determined, of the 2006 Ford van lost control and overturned, ejecting the victim.

This crash is under investigation as FHP Troopers are in the process of determining which of the two men were the driver of the van. It is unknown at this time if the occupants were wearing seat belts.
