BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A suspected drunken driver is in the Brevard County jail after Palm Bay police said he smashed head-on into another vehicle Friday morning and killed another driver.

Shane Dreher has been charged with driving under the influence. Channel 9’s Mike Manzoni found out this is his third DUI.

The crash happened on an overpass at Babcock Street and Interstate 95 in Malabar just after midnight, police said.

Dreher’s pickup truck crossed the double yellow line and hit the 70-year-old’s minivan. The victim’s name has not been released, police said.
