(FOX NEWS) – President-elect Donald Trump is meeting Saturday with Mitt Romney to purportedly discuss the possibility of Romney becoming secretary of state.

Trump and Romney, a former GOP presidential nominee, are meeting at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, N.J.

Romney was one of Trump’s most outspoken Republican critics during the 2016 primary season. The meeting Saturday is one of several Trump has been holding with prominent Republicans to fill Cabinet-level posts, after Trump’s upset White House win on Nov. 8.

The Trump-Romney meeting could at least be a chance for the two to set aside their differences from the 2016 season and forge political unity.
