Alabama Still No. 1

ABOVE VIDEO: Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan and Clemson remain the top four teams in the CFP, but expect things to change after the Buckeyes and Wolverines meet Saturday.

(ESPN) –With wins by each of the top four teams this past weekend, the College Football Playoff rankings remain unchanged at the top ahead of an intriguing rivalry weekend slate of games.

Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan and Clemson continue to hold the inside track for spots in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

The biggest game of this coming weekend will pit the Buckeyes against the Wolverines, while the Crimson Tide will play a stout Auburn team in the Iron Bowl. Clemson will face in-state rival South Carolina.

While the top top teams held steady, a stunning loss by Louisville knocked the Cardinals from No. 5 all the way down to No. 11. Louisville’s pain was Washington’s gain as the Huskies moved up to No. 5 ahead of their Apple Cup showdown against No. 23 Washington State.
