ABOVE VIDEO: Melbourne police are seeking the identity of a white male suspect who stole a car from a parking lot at 14 South Babcock Street on Sunday, Nov. 6.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police are seeking the identity of a white male suspect who stole a car from a parking lot at 14 South Babcock Street on Sunday, Nov. 6.

According to Melbourne Police Commander Sean Riordan, the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle, a gold
2000 Chevrolet Cavalier 4-door, with Florida tag 0121BY.

“The keys to the vehicle were left inside and the suspect retrieved the keys and left with the vehicle southbound on Babcock Street,” said Commander Riordan.

The Melbourne Police Department is trying to identify the suspect in the video, and after following several leads, the investigators need more help.
