BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly 2-vehicle crash that killed a man Saturday morning at around 2 a.m. on I-95 near Rockledge and mile marker 199.

According to the report, the deceased victim is identified as 58-year-old Jean Yves Sully of Titusville.

The investigation has revealed that the victim’s vehicle, a 2000 Toyota Camry, stalled in the middle lane of northbound I-95 when a freight truck slammed into the back of the car.

According to FHP, the truck attempted to stop before the collision but to no avail.

The truck driver was transported to Wuesthoff Medical Center after suffering minor injuries and was identified as 44-year-old Michael Blake of Fort Myers, Florida.
