Midway Airboat Rides Assists Brevard County Fire Rescue To Aid Injured Person On St. Johns River

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to an injured person call on the St. Johns River on Saturday morning 2 miles south of State Road 520.

In a Facebook post, BCFR officials thanked Derrick Lockhart of Midway Airboat Rides for assisting BCFR crew members in reaching the injured person.

Midway Airboat Rides is Central Florida’s oldest airboat ride company and has been in the same location since the 1930s.

Authorities have not released the identity or condition of the injured person. Stay tuned to Space Coast Daily for updates.
