The official Tree Lighting Ceremony for the City of Palm Bay Christmas tree will take place tonight during December's First Friday by the Bay event on Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The official Tree Lighting Ceremony for the City of Palm Bay Christmas tree will take place tonight during December’s First Friday by the Bay event on Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m.

First Friday by the Bay is held on the first Friday of each month at Celebration Square, 4600 Dixie Hwy, in Palm Bay and features live music, merchandise and food vendors, beer, wine and specialty drinks, and a kids’ zone.

There is free parking and admission is free.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with DJ Sharpie. At 6 p.m. Blue Stone Circle will take the stage.

The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature the Heritage High School Show Choir, local elementary school children ornament contest prize winners, local veterans, Homes For Warriors Program recipients, City of the Year Award presentation, and a visit from Santa Claus.
