BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Women’s basketball’s Gracie Doane and men’s basketball’s Jordan Majors have been named Mike Erdman Auto Group Athletes of the Week for the second consecutive week following their performances during the week of December 5–11.

Doane led the Panthers in scoring in the 66-53 road loss to Tampa on Saturday.

The UMBC transfer drained four of her nine three point attempts in the contest, accumulating 12 points. Doane also grabbed a pair of rebounds and doled out an assist in her 19 minutes of action.

Majors, who earns his third straight athlete of the week award, was one of the few bright spots in FIT’s 96-66 defeat at the hands of the Spartans.

The Hopkinsville, Kentucky native led the Panthers with 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting. The guard also snagged three rebounds and dished out three assists, playing 34 of the 40 minutes.

Women’s basketball hits the road this weekend, travelling to West Palm Beach, Florida for the Palm Beach Atlantic hosted PBA Holiday Classic.

The Panthers take on Bellarmine on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET before battling Shaw Monday at 12:30 p.m. Links to live coverage will be available at FloridaTechsports.com.
