BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Iris Reeves enjoys giving women the gift of confidence. As the owner of PermaSpa Beauty Clinic, she has helped hundreds of women look more beautiful.
“It’s wonderful to see someone’s face light up after their treatment, and it’s rewarding to help someone minimize discolorations or scars,” she said.
Reeves opened PermaSpa in 2014 to offer corrective and restorative permanent makeup, but the demand for more services quickly grew.
“I brought in skilled experts in esthetics, permanent makeup and beauty services,” said Reeves.
“We now offer anti-aging skincare, facials, a Brow Bar and body waxing. We also get many calls for microblading, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, sterile environment.
Per client demand, she brought back eyelash extension service, because customers love the high-end lashes she carries.
“We’re known for high quality,” said Reeves. “Clients also value the extras we include, such as second sessions and after-care support. They also appreciate our convenient Wickham Road location, and they comment that the pink signs make our clinic recognizable.”
Reeves developed a passion for the industry after experiencing eyebrow loss from a medical condition.
“I did my research, and I found a permanent makeup artist who gave me back natural looking eyebrows. I loved how transformative the process was,” said Reeves.
“I learned that women use make-up to cover scars, Vitiligo or discolorations, but it can smudge, sweat off, or be time-consuming to apply.”
Reeves has been a proud Floridian since the mid-1970s and is the mother of five children and nine grandchildren.
She planned to keep working as a special education teacher until retirement. She was earning a master’s degree in ESE when she developed a passion for aesthetics, and decided to launch PermaSpa.
Reeves began independent self-study of the industry in 2010, and attended the top schools in Florida. She studied under some of the industry’s top leaders. She has years of experience practicing microblading and the use of digital machines for permanent makeup.
She is a skilled educator and ensures clients understand all their options. Collectively, her team has 35 years’ experience.
Eman Mossad, resident make-up artist, is booked with clients wanting makeovers for weddings and special occasions. She is a GlamLux lash extension expert and skilled with Brow Bar services.
Chris Smith is a skilled aesthetician and leading permanent make-up artist.
Melba Hawkins, a veteran medical esthetician, offers facials, and full body and face waxing. She is in high demand for peels.
To accommodate client’s busy schedules, they offer evening, weekend and holiday hours.
“It’s been a privilege to help so many clients,” said Reeves.
