In Brevard County there are so many incredible charitable organizations that work to help those in our community who are either down on their luck or are facing a very difficult time in their lives.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Well as you know our first two gifts ideas on our Free Christmas Gift list was a Home Security Survey and a beautiful dog or cat from our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Care Center.

While both of those items make a great gift idea our third Christmas Gift Idea is something that will live on forever in helping change someone’s life in Brevard County.

Volunteering For A Local Charity

Number Three is “Volunteering For A Local Charity” in our incredible community so that you can give your time, energy, and passion to someone in a time of need during the Christmas Season.

In Brevard County there are so many incredible charitable organizations that work to help those in our community who are either down on their luck or are facing a very difficult time in their lives.

While these organizations can always use help financially in supporting their mission, I promise you that every one of them would be honored to have you as a volunteer with their organization.

For example, this coming Sunday at 9:30 A.M. at Rhodes Park Community Center in West Melbourne, “Kids Without Christmas” will be wrapping thousands of Christmas Gifts for boys and girls throughout our community that without their help would not have a gift to open on Christmas Morning.

To volunteer, all you have to do is show up and start wrapping gifts. It’s that easy, and it’s a fun and festive time for everyone as the gift of giving is a gift that will live on forever in someone’s life.

There are so many incredible organizations that are operating throughout the year in our community and all you have to do to help support them is give them your time, passion, and belief in their mission.

Volunteering is also a great way to give as a family, as co-workers, as an organization or even as a team and I promise you there is no better gift you can give than the gift of volunteering.

Regardless if you help wrap gifts at Christmas time, help feed the hungry, volunteer at the hospital, or come volunteer at our Brevard County Animal Care Center the gift of volunteering is a gift that will forever change someone’s life and in doing so will forever change your life as well.

Remember “It Takes A Community To Protect A Community” so get out there and volunteer!
