Brevard County Manager To Host Developer’s Roundtable Discussion Feb. 17 In Viera

Brevard County Manager Stockton Whitten will host the next “Developer’s Roundtable” from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Manager Stockton Whitten will host the next “Developer’s Roundtable” from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17.

The meeting will be held in the Space Coast Room at the Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.

The Developer’s Roundtable is a discussion forum on growth issues, land use, development activities and building trends.

The goal is to bring key County department heads to the table with members of the development community on a quarterly basis.

The roundtables invite open and informal discussions on development processes, organizational approaches, processes and issues on both sides of the table.

Topics to be discussed include:

1) Updates

  • BASS – Online Permitting

2) Other Review Process Improvements (Staff Approvals)

  • Preliminary Plats
  • Final Engineering
  • Subdivision and Construction Plans

3) Site Plan and Subdivision Review Process Improvements

There will also be discussion on suggested changes to the Land Development Code.
