ABOVE VIDEO: The Law Enforcement Academy at Eastern Florida State College partners with the Brevard Police Testing & Selection Center (BPTC) to select students for Academy classes. The BPTC performs all testing and screening because Academy applicants must first take the Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT), a requirement of the State of Florida to enter any law enforcement academy. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College’s Public Safety Institute is currently recruiting for its next Law Enforcement Academies.

Those interested are encouraged to apply now at the Brevard Police Testing and Selection Center for the following upcoming Basic Police Academies. 

Academy Start Date and Registration Cutoff:

• 17L2 4/24/17 3/20/17

• 17L3 7/10/17 (P/T-Night)   6/5/17

• 17L4 7/31/17 6/12/17

• 17L5 10/30/17 9/18/17

In order to attend, qualified applicants must successfully complete written, physical and polygraph tests by the cutoff dates listed.  Class sizes are limited and rosters fill up quickly.
