Florida Forest Service Conducting Certified Pile Burner Course, Learn To Burn Legally, Safely

Join the Florida Forest Service (FFS) and the UF/Brevard Extension Services for a Certified Pile Burners course, Feb. 1, from 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Join the Florida Forest Service and the UF/Brevard Extension Services for a Certified Pile Burners course, Feb. 1, from 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.

This course teaches participants how to burn piles legally, safely and efficiently. If you burn piles regularly, do not put off registering for this training.

Certified pile burners receive priority authorization to burn during dry periods, are allowed to burn longer periods, and receive multiple day authorizations.

Number of trainings and course size is limited. Lunch will be provided.

Each participant must have a customer number from FFS; if participants do not have a number, you must call FFS and acquire a customer number before registering.
