Florida Tech Softball Picked To Finish Third In Preseason Softball Coaches’ Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Sunshine State Conference released its Preseason Softball Coaches’ Poll and Florida Tech was tabbed as the third best team entering the 2017 season.

FIT received 52 total votes in the rankings and sits two shy of Rollins for second with 54 votes and one first-place vote. 2016 Sunshine State Conference Champion, Saint Leo, is the favorite entering the season with 64 total votes and eight first-place nods.

Barry (41), Eckerd (33), Tampa (33), Florida Southern (24), Lynn (13) and Nova Southeastern (10) fill out the rest of the preseason poll.
