Just 100 hospitals are in top two percent

Parrish Medical Center has earned the Top 100 SafeCare Hospitals distinction from The SafeCare Group, based in Lexington, Kentucky.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Parrish Medical Center (PMC) has earned the Top 100 SafeCare Hospitals distinction from The SafeCare Group, based in Lexington, Kentucky.

According to the SafeCare Group, this distinction is not an award that hospitals receive but one that is earned based upon performance in the comprehensive, evidence-based metrics of the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) hospital value-based program (HVBP), readmissions reduction program (HRRP), and acquired complications reduction program (HACRP).

These 100 hospitals are the top two percent of all U.S. hospitals, representing the nation’s top performing hospitals in 40 evidence-based metrics of CMS HVBP, HRRP, and HACRP.

“This is truly an accomplishment for your hospital, its staff, and medical staff,” wrote Yisrael M. Safeek, MD, MBA, CPE, FACPE, CEO & chairman, The SafeCare Group, in his congratulatory email to Parrish.
