Parrish Medical Group Welcomes Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Wayne Mosley

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Parrish Medical Group, with offices in Titusville, Port St. John and Melbourne, welcomes E. Wayne Mosley, MD, as its newest board-certified physician in Orthopedic Surgery.
Parrish Medical Group, a Parrish Healthcare integrated care partner, is North Brevard’s largest network of primary care physicians and specialists.
Dr. Mosley has practiced orthopedic medicine since 1993, most recently in Indiana with the Perry County Surgical Associates, as well as in Kentucky, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.
His general orthopedic practice includes specialized surgical procedures such as anterior hip replacement, reverse shoulder surgery and geriatric fracture repair.
He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky in 1988, and completed an internship in the university’s Department of Surgery from 1988-89 as well as his residency in orthopedic surgery from 1989-93.
Dr. Mosley also holds an MBA degree from Emory University (2006) and a Master’s in Negotiations from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame (2006).
Dr. Mosley entered military service in 1987 and most recently served as an orthopedic surgeon in the U.S. Army Reserves, including deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.
He has lectured widely in the military and at the universities of Kentucky and Louisville, Lexington Community College, Hopkinsville Community College, and Jennie Stuart Medical Center, and has received numerous awards and commendations, including the Operation Iraqi Freedom CFLCC Surgeon Award for Excellence, Order of Military Medical Merit, and the Bronze Star.
